Function
The rotary light switch is switched to the low beam position and sends a "driving lights ON" signal to the upper control panel control unit.

The front SAM control unit actuates the left low beam of the left front lamp unit (E1) and the right low beam in the right front lamp unit (E2).

The standing lamp in the left and right lamp unit is actuated when the driving lights are switched on and the transmitter key (A8/1) removed. Actuation of the instrument cluster with the "driving lights ON" signal triggers a chime from the warning buzzer when the transmitter key is removed and the driver's-side door is opened.
