AR42.50-P-0001-08GS Check Warning System Switching Points
- with CODE (979) Special protection version





1 Switch off ignition and reduce pressure in booster circuit (press brake pedal approx. 30 times).
2 Start engine and wait until the motor/pump unit has switched off.
3 Remove fuse (f8) "40 amps" for brake booster hydraulic unit safety fuse (K37/1).

The fuse (f8) "40 amps" is located on the right of the instrument panel, bellow the fuse panel.





4 Reduce pressure in booster circuit (press brake pedal approx. 30 times).

At approx. 140 bar the brake pressure additional hydraulics warning lamp (E16/5) must light up.

The motor/pump unit starts up.

At approx. 140 bar the warning lamp (E16/5) must go off again.

Conditions fulfilled: System OK

conditions not fulfilled: Vehicle electrics defective

5 Install fuse (f8) "40 amps" for safety relay (K37/1).
6 Switch off ignition.
