N73 EIS [EZS] control unit

Location
The EIS [EZS] control unit is located on the right, next to the steering column.

Task
The EIS control unit is the interface (gateway) between the interior CAN, diagnostic CAN and drive CAN. It is the master control unit of the drive authorization stage system 3 (DAS 3), central locking (CL) and shift-lock function.
