The insides of the windows of special protection vehicles are plastic-coated. The plastic coating is very sensitive to scratching in comparison to glass.

Observe the following notes to prevent damaging the plastic coating:
^ Do not affix any adhesive labels.
^ Avoid any contact with hard objects (ice scrapers, rings, watches, armbands, etc.)
^ Do not use any deicing sprays.
^ Do not clean dry.

When carrying out work:
^ Cover the inside of the panes and windows with a protective film.
^ Cover sharp edges on doors and on the window frame.
^ Always reinstall removed bolts at position they were removed.
^ New bolts must always be exactly identical to the bolts installed previously.

When cleaning:
^ Use only water for cleaning, possibly adding a small amount of mild dishwashing liquid or soap.
^ Clean using only a chamois leather and minimal pressure.
