1 Remove footwell ventilation air duct (19)
On vehicles without code (582) Rear air conditioning or without code (413) Panoramic glass sunroof with top sliding sunroof.





2 Remove cover (35).
3 Open cable duct (36) until electric wiring harnesses (38, 39) can be removed.
4 Remove cable duct cover (37).
5 Remove electrical wiring harnesses (38, 39) from cable duct (36).





6 Route electrical wiring harnesses (38) in cable duct toward left.
7 Route electrical wiring harnesses (39) in cable duct toward right.
8 Install cable duct cover (37).
9 Close cable duct (36).
10 Install cover (35).





11 Position retaining bracket (42) in stowage compartment (15) and secure with bolts (43).
12 Fit expansion clips (45).
13 Slide DVD player (A40/4) into retaining bracket (42) and engage.
The DVD player (A40/4) is subsequently connected to the relevant electrical lines.
14 Clip covering (44) to stowage compartment (15).
The stowage compartment (15) is subsequently installed in the center console together with the DVD player (A40/4).
