Design
Pushbutton switch with several switching contacts.

Function
When the cruise control pushbutton switch is operated, two switching contacts are always activated simultaneously. The actual input takes place by closing the switching contact. The safety contact must close simultaneously so that the input is accepted.

The switching signals are detected by the steering column module and transmitted to the CAN databus.
