With the introduction of the digital tachograph a new "Adapter 2 D" testing unit or an "Update-Kit for adapter 2" is also required.

With the new "Adapter 2 D" testing unit all analog and digital tachographs, irrespective of the manufacturer of the tachograph and the vehicle, are checked and calibrated. The adapter 2 D is used in combination with STAR DIAGNOSIS or a commercially available laptop.
The test program can be operated easily through a graphically structured surface.

An "Update-Kit" has been prepared for the previous testing unit "Adapter 2".
Together with this "Update-Kit" "Adapter 2" can likewise be used for checking the digital tachograph.
