Control module - programming Vehicle equipment

After replacing the control module the SRS malfunction indicator lamp (A1e15) flashes or comes on continuously, because the control module has not yet been programmed and the parameters set.
The control module can only be programmed and the parameters set with the hand-held tester (HHT). Proceed as follows to programming:

1. Check vehicle equipment and, if necessary, program properly with HHT
1. Switch ignition off and then back on.
2. Read out DTC memory and erase
3. SRS malfunction indicator lamp (A1e15) flashes

If the answer is not correct, the control module is defective following parameter setting.
