Control module - programming Setting parameters

If a defective control module is replaced with a new control module, it is necessary to set the parameters.
The parameters can only be set with the hand-held tester (HHT).

Prerequisites for setting parameters:
^ Vehicle equipment programmed according to 16/1
^ HHT DTC memory read out and erased
^ SRS malfunction indicator lamp (A1e15) flashes

Set parameters according to HHT instructions

After programming the vehicle equipment and setting the parameters the flashing SRS malfunction indicator lamp (A1e15) goes out.

In order to avoid damage to the ETR control module with airbag (N2/2), do not interrupt the power supply while setting the parameters.

The parameters can be set only once.

If incorrect entries are made the control module is defective following parameter setting.
