AR46.20-P-0500-01F Turn Steering Gear to Center Position









1 The markings on the steering shaft, steering gear pitman arm and housing must line up.

The front wheels must be set to the straight-ahead position.





2 Mount the universal joint (3) such that the clamping nut lines up with the marking (1) on the steer jacket.

This refers to the basic setting. The basic setting must be checked or adjusted once the hydraulic limiter has been set. The marking (2) on the shaft of the steering worm is not available on all steering gears.
