- with CODE (510) Audio 20 with CD changer
- with CODE (512) COMAND APS with DVD changer
- with CODE (523) MB Audio 20 radio
- with CODE (525) MB Audio 50 APS radio
- with CODE (527) COMAND APS (with navigation)
- except CODE (494) USA version


1 Detach air duct (1).
2 Route comfort telephony wiring harness (2) below bracket (3) and booster blower motor (M2/1) along vehicle wiring harness to radio opening.
3 Fasten air duct (1).







4 Remove black, 10-pin coupling (4) from radio coupling (5) and pull it apart.
5 Plug blue line (6) from comfort telephony wiring harness into contact cavity 7 of black, 10-pin coupling (4).







6 Assemble black, 10-pin coupling (4) and connect to radio coupling (5).
7 Fasten comfort telephony wiring harness with cable tie.

8 Fold up 40 % rear seat (7).
9 Remove screws/bolts (8) and remove cover (9).
10 Fold over 40 % rear seat (7).
11 Remove stop plugs (arrows).







12 Remove stop plugs (10) and lift floor covering (11).
13 Route comfort telephony wiring harness (2) under floor covering (11) to left rear door sills (antenna-side) and right rear door sills (voltage-side).







14 Remove screw/bolt (12) and route comfort telephony wiring harness (2) under bracket (13) to left cable duct (14).
15 Tighten bolt (12).
16 Voltage distributor connector, left rear seat Pull apart circuit 31 (Z204/6) and plug ground line (15) into open, available contact cavity.
17 Voltage distributor connector, left rear seat Assemble circuit 31 (Z204/6).







18 Route left comfort telephony wiring harness (2) along vehicle wiring harness to left spare wheel well.
19 Fasten comfort telephony wiring harness (2) with cable tie.







20 Fasten bracket (16) to body using nuts (17) and screw/bolt (18).
21 Fasten E-net compensator (A28/3) to bracket (16) with screws/bolts (19).
22 Connect electrical connectors (20) to E-net compensator (A28/3).
23 Route left comfort telephony wiring harness (2) along vehicle wiring harness (21) to left D-pillar.
24 Fasten comfort telephony wiring harness (2) with cable tie (22).







25 Route and connect comfort telephony wiring harness (2) to telephone antenna (A2/93a3).
26 Fasten comfort telephony wiring harness (2) with cable strap (23).







27 Route right comfort telephony wiring harness (2) along vehicle wiring harness to cargo area fuse and relay box (F4).
28 Fasten comfort telephony wiring harness (2) with cable tie.







29 Disconnect white, 10-pin coupling P1 (24) from cargo area fuse and relay box (F4).
30 Plug comfort telephony wiring harness (2) into contact cavity 4 of white, 10-pin coupling P1 (24).
31 Connect white, 10-pin coupling P1 (24) to cargo area fuse and relay box (F4).
32 To prevent noises, secure excess lines with cable tie.
