Component Identification:

1 Disconnect electrical connectors (14, 15) from Bluetooth module.
2 Lift stowage box (11) out of center console (9), at the same time lead electrical lines of Bluetooth module below stowage box (11) into center console (9) until stowage box (11) can be placed upside down in center console (9).
3 Unscrew bolts (16).
4 Raise center console (9) until assembly wedge (20) can be inserted upright under center console (9) as shown.
5 Insert assembly wedge (20) under center console (9).

The assembly wedge (20) is used as a spacer.

6 Lead electrical lines (18, 19) of Bluetooth module through bracket (17).
7 Remove stowage box (11) from center console (9).







8 Unscrew bolts (21).
9 Remove telephone console (22) with electrical lines (18, 19) of Bluetooth module from stowage box (11).







Since the existing opening in the stowage box is too small to lead the center console iPhone kit wiring harness (4) through the opening of the stowage box, the connector (5) must be disassembled.
The coupling (3) cannot be disassembled.

10 Unclip connector housing (5.2) and remove from connector inside part (5.1).

Ensure that the center console iPhone kit wiring harness (4) with the individual pins in the connector inside part (5.1) is not damaged during the course of the installation, as it must otherwise be replaced.







11 Lead connector inside part (5.1) of center console iPhone kit wiring harness (4) through opening in stowage box (11).
12 Lead electrical lines (18, 19) of telephone console Bluetooth module (22) through opening in stowage box (11).
13 Insert telephone console (22) into stowage box (11) and tighten with the screws/bolts (21).

Ensure that electrical lines (18, 19) and center console iPhone kit wiring harness (4) are routed properly.







14 Place stowage box (11) upside down in center console (9).
15 Lead electrical lines (18, 19) of Bluetooth module and center console iPhone kit wiring harness (4) through bracket (17) as shown.
16 Pull out assembly wedge (20) under center console (9).
17 Lower center console (9).
18 Tighten bolts (16)










19 Insert stowage box (11) in center console (9), at the same time route electrical lines of Bluetooth module and center console iPhone kit wiring harness into center console (9).
20 Connect electrical connectors (14, 15) of Bluetooth module.
21 Route center console iPhone kit wiring harness towards front to instrument panel.
22 Open glove box lid (25).
23 Unclip cover (26) out of media interface connector 2 (X18/69).
24 Press back catch hooks (arrows A) and remove cover (27) out of glove box (28) until media interface connector 2 (X18/69) can be unclipped.
25 Unclip media interface connector 2 (X18/69) out of cover (27).
26 Remove cover (27).







27 Cut opening for wiring harness duct of instrument panel iPhone kit wiring harness out of cover (27).

b= 5 mm
c= 5 mm







28 Route instrument panel iPhone kit wiring harness (7), starting with connector (8) in glove box (28), parallel to wiring harness for media interface connector 2 (X18/69) in instrument panel (29) as shown.

Route instrument panel iPhone kit wiring harness (7) with an extended length of approx. 80 mm to ensure that the connector (8) is inserted into the media interface connector 2 (X18/69).

29 Set down coupling (6) as shown.







30 Lead through center console iPhone kit wiring harness (4) under front cross bracing (30) of center console (9) and set down next to coupling (6).
31 Clip connector inside part (5.1) into connector housing (5.2).
32 Connect connector (5) and coupling (6).
33 Stow connector (5) and coupling (6) between installation frame of instrument panel center section and instrument panel (29).

Ensure that center console iPhone kit wiring harness (4) and instrument panel iPhone kit wiring harness (7) are routed and fastened without chafing.







34 Clip media interface connector 2 (X18/69) into cover (27).
35 Clip cover (26) into media interface connector 2 (X18/69).
36 Connect connector (8) to media interface connector 2 (X18/69).
37 Insert instrument panel iPhone kit wiring harness (7) into opening for wiring harness duct (arrow B).
38 Push back extended length of instrument panel iPhone kit wiring harness (7) and secure against slipping out again if necessary using a cable tie.
39 Clip cover (27) into glove box (28).
40 Close glove box lid (25).
