Reading in of sensors
The input factors are read in with the following connections:
^ Direct line
^ Interior CAN

Direct line
The following sensors are read in via a direct line:
- Left front KEYLESS GO door handle (A17/1)
- Right front KEYLESS GO door handle (A17/2)
- Left rear KEYLESS GO door handle (A17/3)
- Right rear KEYLESS GO door handle (A17/4)
- Roof antenna module (A2/93)

Interior CAN

The following signals and sensors are read in via interior CAN:
by the EIS control unit (N73):
- Keyless Go start/stop pushbutton (S2/3)

by the rear SAM control unit (N10/8):
- Liftgate handle switch (S88/9)
- Spare tire carrier switch locked (S151/1) (with code (849) Spare tire holder/spare tire)
- Spare tire carrier switch open S151/2 (with code (849) Spare tire holder/spare tire)
- Spare tire carrier switch open S151/3 (with code (849) Spare tire holder/spare tire)

via the central gateway control unit (N93) by the steering column tube module (N80):
- DIRECT SELECT gear selector switch (S16/13)

by the ESP control unit (N47-5):
- Service brake, status

by the instrument cluster (A1):
- Vehicle speed signal

by the rear-end door closing system control unit (N121/1) (with code (890) EASY-PACK liftgate):
- RWTS button (S62/26)

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.

- Rear door locking unit (A72)
- Right rear door CL [ZV] motor (M14/9)

- Spare tire carrier CL motor M14/13 (with code (849) Spare tire holder/spare tire)

From the front SAM control unit (N10):
- Left rear door CL [ZV] motor (M14/8)

By left front door control unit (N69/1):
