AZ82.60-P-0001-03GZA Retrofit iPod Interface
- with CODE (527) COMAND APS with single DVD drive (with navigation)
- with CODE (512) COMAND APS with DVD changer








1 Centrally align two of the Velcro strips (3) included in package contents and press together firmly.
2 Remove protective foil from one Velcro strip (3) each and glue Velcro strips (3), as illustrated, onto rear of iPod interface (1).
3 Turn over iPod interface (1) and bond with felt tape (4) as illustrated.
4 Wind felt tape around entire connection consisting of white 2-pin connector (8) and white 2-pin coupling (12) and fix in place on iPod interface (1) using felt tape (arrow).
5 Fold insulation mat (5) up and over and clean bonding surfaces on inside of side piece (6).

The bonding surfaces must be dry, free of dust and grease.

6 Remove protective foils from Velcro strips on iPod interface (1) and glue iPod interface (1), as illustrated, onto inside of side piece (6).

The black iPod wiring harness coupling (10) must face towards the rear. Ensure that the iPod wiring harness (9) is not kinked too much in this area.







7 Stow extended length of iPod interface wiring harness (2) in area of iPod interface (1).
8 Fold over insulation mat (5) into its design position.
