Crankshaft bearing cap:

Crankshaft bearing cap bolt tightening sequence:

1 Moisten the thread and head contact surface of the bolts of the crankshaft bearing caps with oil.
2 Nm Tighten the bolts of the crankshaft bearing caps as specified in the tightening diagram.
3 Tighten the bolts of the crankcase to the crankshaft bearing cap as specified in the tightening diagram.

Tightening angle:

4 Turn the crankshaft.

Check for unobstructed movement.
