Bracket is no longer (12) required.
Component Identification:
4 Expose MOST coupling (25) of on-board MOST fiber optic cable under left rear seat.
The MOST coupling (25) is from the on-board UPCI preinstallation wiring harness (50).
5 Position antenna plug (9) and SDAR connector (31) of SDAR wiring harness (30) under left rear seat as per picture.
6 Install MOST coupling (25) of on-board MOST fiber optic cable in SDAR connector (31) of SDAR wiring harness (30).
If fitted, remove the caps from the MOST coupling (25) before installing in the SDAR connector (31).
On vehicles which are already equipped with a UPCI control unit, the MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20) on the MOST coupling (25) of the UPCI control unit must be connected to the MOST ring for the SDAR control unit (1) as per the MOST ring sequence and installed in the SDAR connector (31) of the SDAR wiring harness (30)
Steps 9 and 10 below are not required for vehicles with UPCI control unit.
7 Remove foam material around circuit 31 left rear seat voltage distributor connector (Z204/6) under left rear seat and release cover of circuit 31 left rear seat voltage distributor connector (Z204/6).
8 Pin in ground pin (35) of ground connection line branch-off (34) at any free slot of circuit 31 left rear seat voltage distributor connector (Z204/6) as per picture, lock circuit 31 left rear seat voltage distributor connector (Z204/6) and secure ground connection line branch-off (34) to on-board wiring harnesses.
9 Attach foam material around slot of circuit 31 left rear seat voltage distributor connector (Z204/6) under left rear seat.
10 Route wake-up line branch-off (32) of SDAR wiring harness (30) along cable duct from left rear seat in left rear legroom to wake-up signal connector sleeve (Z100/2) as per picture and secure to on-board wiring harnesses.
The strapped-down loop of the wake-up line branch-off (32) must be positioned at the cable duct (see arrow top left).
11 Remove foam material around wake-up signal connector sleeve (Z100/2) in left rear legroom and release cover of wake-up signal connector sleeve (Z100/2).
Red/black lines are connected to the wake-up signal connector sleeve (Z100/2).
12 Pin in wake-up pin (33) of wake-up line branch-off (32) at any free slot of wake-up signal connector sleeve (Z100/2) as per picture, lock wake-up signal connector sleeve (Z100/2) and secure wake-up line branch-off (32) to on-board wiring harnesses.
13 Attach foam material around wake-up signal connector sleeve (Z100/2) in left rear legroom.
14 Route MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20) parallel to on-board UPCI preinstallation wiring harness (50) as per picture and fix in place.
15 Secure MOST coupling housing (21) of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20) to on-board UPCI preinstallation wiring harness (50) as per picture.
The MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20) replaces the UPCI preinstallation and is not connected.
16 Attach self-adhesive felt (52) to edge of body opening.
17 Route remaining branch-off lines of SDAR wiring harness (30) from left rear seat through body opening and into luggage compartment as per picture and secure to body using self-adhesive felt (51).
18 Attach self-adhesive felt to edge of body opening (see arrow top left).
19 Route SDAR wiring harness (30) in spare tire well as per picture and secure to on-board wiring harnesses.
20 Route SDAR wiring harness (30) from spare tire well to D-pillar as per picture and secure to on-board wiring harnesses.
21 Route antenna line branch-off (8) of SDAR wiring harness (30) along on-board wiring harnesses on D-pillar to roof antenna module (A2/93) as per picture and secure to on-board wiring harnesses.
22 Connect antenna connector (7) of antenna line branch-off (8) to SDAR antenna (2) of roof antenna module (A2/93) as per picture and secure antenna line branch-off (8) to roof antenna module (A2/93) using cable tie.
23 Route power supply line branch-off (36) of SDAR wiring harness (30) to load compartment relay box (F4) as per picture and secure to on-board wiring harnesses.
24 Secure strapped-down loop of power supply line branch-off (36) to on-board wiring harnesses as per picture (see arrow in picture at bottom center).
25 Disconnect blue connector (38) from slot P3 of load compartment fuse and relay box (F4).
26 Pin power supply pin (37) of power supply line branch-off (36) into contact cavity 4 of blue connector (38).
27 Connect blue connector (38) to slot P3 of load compartment fuse and relay box (F4).
28 Fit 7.5 amp fuse at fuse slot 39 of load compartment fuse and relay box (F4).
Depending on the special equipment, a 7.5 amp fuse may already be fitted at fuse slot 39 of the load compartment fuse and relay box (F4).
