GF82.20-P-5216GM Overhead Control Panel Control Unit, Component Description
Component Identification:
Location
The overhead control panel control unit is located in the front area on the headliner.
Task
The overhead control panel control unit has the following tasks:
^ Reading in of sensors, pickups and signals
^ Evaluation of input factors
^ Control of systems
^ Voltage supply to components
^ Actuation of components
Reading in of sensors, pickups and signals
The input factors are read in with the following connections:
^ Direct line
^ Serial bus
^ Interior CAN
Direct line
The signals from the following components are read in by the overhead control panel control unit via a direct line:
- Rear dome lamp switch
- Door contact ON and OFF switch
- Interior lamp switch, 1st seat row
- Left reading lamp switch, 1st seat row
- Right reading lamp switch, 1st seat row
- SOS pushbutton switch
