With Code 430 Off Road Package
AR40.20-P-0322-03GZ Check caster and assign to tabular value
- with CODE (430) Offroad package
The caster is measured between a 20 degrees wheel angle to the right and a 20 degrees wheel angle to the left, and varies according to the vehicle level. Different vehicle levels therefore make it necessary to determine the specified caster value based on a caster table as follows:
^ Determine level of front axle and level of rear axle using the electronic inclinometer.
The level value is displayed by the electronic level gauge in decimal degrees only (Romess value). The details given in millimeters in the caster table only serve for a better understanding.
The tolerance is ± 30'.
Maximum caster difference between left and right is 0 degrees 30'.
Example:
Level at front axle (VA): 9.0 degrees (value on inclinometer)
Level at rear axle (HA): 3.0 degrees (value on inclinometer)
Specified caster value: 5 degrees 39' (determined from the caster table)
