Vacuum Circuit 5 (Legroom Flap)

NOTE: Ignition is OFF.

1. Remove left cover under instrument panel.
2. Remove optional switch.
3. Remove optional switch cover.

Switchover Valves ACC:

ACC Defroster And Legroom Flap Vacuum Elements:

4. Pull red/yellow vacuum line from switchover valve (14) and connect to vacuum tester.
5. Evacuate to approx. 400 mbar (12 in. Hg) vacuum while paying attention to operation of legroom flaps and watch tester gauge.
6. If the reading on the tester changes, check vacuum line (44) and vacuum element (39) for leaks and replace as required.
7. Install cover for optional switch.
8. Install optional switch.
9. Install left cover under instrument panel.

Vacuum Circuit Tests 4(IV), 5(V), 6(VI):
