Power Mirror Motor: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Remove mirror glass refer to Body and Frame/Mirrors/Service and Repair/Manual Mirror for mirror glass removal Service and Repair
2. Remove electrically adjustable outside rear view mirror or driver's door Service and Repair






3. Remove rubber cover on outside rear view mirror and unscrew screws on plug connection underneath.






4. Unscrew fastening screws on electric motor and remove motor together with adjusting mechanism.






5. Unscrew screws on housing.






6. Lift housing and pull out supply cable.

Installation

For installation proceed vice versa
