Transmission Cooler: Service and Repair

Cause/Remedy:
On vehicles with automatic transmission, the transmission oil cooler is attached in the radiator with aluminium collar nuts (see table for production period below).

If these nuts have to be replaced because of leaks or damage, only steel nuts with steel washers or steel collar nuts may be fitted.
First of all check radiators which are installed new and convert, if necessary.
Tightening torque: 25 Nm
