Water Pump: Application and ID

NOTE: Since October 1979 coolant pump part No. 10 200 01 20 is replaced by coolant pump part No. 115 200 00 20 as standard equipment, identified by smaller OD (D) of bearing housing of 48 mm (formerly 52 mm).

Reason: standardized with engines 615 and 616.

Since February 1983 the engine 617.951 is provided with a pulley of smaller diameter at coolant pump.

This pulley, part No.617 205 09 10, can also be installed on engines made at an earlier date.

Since July 1983 engine 617.952 is provided with a modified viscofan coupling together with a 9-blade plastic fan (6 light alloy blades up to now).

The modified viscofan coupling can also be installed on engines made at an earlier date.
