Without Voltage Converter, Type 1:





When the 10-pin plug (X29/9) is disconnected, pin Nos. 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in the lower part of the plug are short-circuited. When the connector to the belt tensioner and airbag ignition pellets (R12/2 and R12/3) is disconnected, the pellets are short-circuited.

With Voltage Converter, Type 2:





When the 10-pin plug (X29/9) is disconnected, pin Nos. 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in the lower part of the plug are short-circuited. When the connector to the belt tensioner and airbag ignition pellets (R12/2 and R12/3) is disconnected, the pellets are short-circuited.

With Voltage Converter and Belt Tensioners (From 09/84 on), Type 3:





When the 10-pin plug (X29/9) is disconnected, pin Nos. 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in the lower part of the plug are short-circuited. When the connector to the belt tensioner ignition pellets (R12/1, R12/2) and airbag ignition pellet (R12/3) is disconnected, the pellets are short-circuited.
