Vacuum Circuit 1 (Switchover Valves)

NOTE: Ignition is OFF.

Vacuum Check Valve In Engine Compartment:

Switchover Valves ACC:

1. Pull vacuum line yellow/green from check valve (8).
2. Connect vacuum line from vacuum tester to vacuum line yellow/green and apply approx. 400 mbar (12 in. Hg) vacuum and watch vacuum gauge.
3. If reading changes, test and replace vacuum line to switchover valves or test switchover valves individually, if required.

Vacuum Circuit Tests 1(I), 2(II), 3(III):

LEGEND
13 = Switchover valve for center nozzle flap
14 = Switchover valve for legroom flaps
15 = Switchover valve for defroster nozzle flaps
17 = Switchover valve for main air flap
18 = Switchover valve for fresh air/recirculating air flap
35 = Vacuum connection to vacuum pump line
36 = Check valve
48 = 6-point distributor
