When replacing the transmission case on transmission 722.3, please note that a running production change was made to the casting. The filler piece (128) may not be required because fluid flow is sufficiently restricted by the casting change.

If a replacement case is ordered, visually inspect and verify the casting change. Insert the filler piece (128) only if it will fit unrestricted, do not force the piece into position.
