Glass - Repair Recommendation

SUBECT: GLASS REPAIR
Damaged laminated glass due to chipping or scratching can now be satisfactorily and economically repaired using the NOVUS glass repair method. The procere (approved by MBAG and recommended by MBNA) could be especially beneficial for repairing vehicles in the dealer's used car department.
Notes:
^ Only the exterior glass surface may be repaired. The interior side and the plastic foil must be undamaged.
^ Humidity or water must never have entered the damaged area. After damaging the glass surface, the area should immediately be sealed with tape and be repaired as soon as possible.
^ The impact crater must not exceed 5 mm (3/16 in.) in diameter.
^ Cracks should not exend more than 50 mm (2 in.) from the point of impact. They should neither end in the rubber weatherstrip nor extend to the rim of the pane.
^ A spot of approximately 2 mm (1/16 in.) in diameter will remain visible after a successful repair.
^ Repairs to windshields should only be made by trained personnel of NOVUS Inc. and in accordance with restrictions set forth by local or state government agencies.
