CHECKING & CORRECTING SUSPENSION SYSTEM OIL LEVEL

1. Run engine momentarily with vehicle on a level surface.
2. Stop engine, then check oil level using the oil supply tank dipstick.
3. Add oil as necessary to bring level between the ``min'' and ``max'' marks on dipstick.




PRESSURIZING SUSPENSION SYSTEM

Ensure proper oil level exists in the oil supply tank prior to pressurizing (filling) the suspension system.

123 Series

1. The suspension system may be pressurized using either one of the following methods (a or b):
a. Place a load of approximately 330 lbs. in vehicle's luggage compartment, then start and operate engine at high idle for approximately 1 minute.
b. Disconnect level controller connecting rod with lever in ``F'' (filling) position. Operate engine at high idle for approximately 30 seconds, then attach connecting rod to lever.
