Microswitch (A/T Trans Only)

Compressor Cutout Microswitch:

PURPOSE

The microswitch, which is located on the intake manifold, senses the full load throttle position.

OPERATION

With the throttle in the full load position and the engine between 1050 and 2150 RPM, the compressor is cut out by the microswitch via the compressor cut-out control unit. Low engine speed performance is improved by this operation.
