Micro Switches
1. Connect a vacuum gauge with a "T" fitting to the EGR valve.
a. With an engine speed of approximately 1000 ± 30 RPM, operate micro switch S27/6 I, (closest to the cable bracket).
b. Pressure on EGR valve should drop to zero and pressure control flap should move into its "not activated" position.
2. Actuate micro switch S27/6 II, (mounted to switch I). The pressure control flap should move into its "not activated" position.
3. If flap does not move into its proper position, test vacuum control valve.
