System is Not Attaining 24 Deg C



At Selector Position 22°C (L and R) and Outside Temp Below 0°C, System is Not Attaining Temp of Approx 24°C at Head Room Level



Cause/remedy:
a) In-car sensor, temperature sensor for heat exchanger or temperature selectors are not attaining specified resistance value.

Test in-car sensor, temperature sensor for heat exchanger or temperature selectors, renew or test their feed lines for short against ground, if required and recondition.

b) Heat exchanger contaminated or damaged.

Checkup:
Insert thermometer into defroster nozzle left and right. Start engine and run to operating temperature (min. 80 °C). Let engine run at approx. 2000/min for 1 - 5 minutes. Then read thermometer, indication should be > 55 °C.

Flush heat exchanger or renew, if required.







c) Circulating pump (10) not running.

Check circulating pump and renew, if required, or check their feed lines and recondition.







d) Electronic switching unit for temperature control (9) damaged.

Renew electronic switching unit.
