Reference Resistor

1. With engine off, disconnect the reference resistor.
2. Check the voltage between terminals 1 and 2 of the reference resistor connector. If voltage reading is 5 volts, replace the reference resistor. If reading is not 5 volts, check for and repair open circuit.
