Trimming Plug

NOTE: The trimming plug should be installed in position 4.
1. With engine off and steering lock in the second postion, disconnect the trimming plug connector.
2. Check for 5 volts between terminals A and B, Fig. 40, of the trimming plug connector. If 5 volts is measured, replace the trimming plug. If 5 volts is not measured, check for and repair any open circuits. If all circuits are good, replace EDS control unit.
