Removal and replacement of outside rear view mirror






Note: If the outside rear view mirror is unintentionally changing its position, tighten screw on adjusting mechanism as required.

Note: Screw is located under cover plate.

A. Mirror glass

Removal






1. Push outside rear view mirror to the rear and disengage both ends of holding spring






2. Push out mirror glass by means of a plastic wedge and remove laterally.

Installation






3. Attach holding spring on mirror glass.
4. Attach mirror glass to adjusting lever and push on mounting disc until holding spring is audibly engaging.


B. Complete outside rear view mirror

Removal






1. Push plastic lock out of handle by means of a screwdriver.






2. Unclip cover plate at top from door frame, pull in upward direction and disengage on door lining.






3. Unscrew screws and remove mirror.

Installation

4. For installation proceed vice versa.
