Removal/Installation of Sealing/Rails on Sliding-Lifting Roof






Sliding-lifting roof Open, do not remove
Installation position of sealing Mark on roof cutout at connecting points (arrows)
Sealing (1) Pull out of holding rail 2, 3, 4 and 5
Wind deflector Remove and install Service and Repair
Screw (6) Screw 6 each out and in
Holding rail (2) Remove and install (refer to Installation note)
Screw (7) and (8) Screw 8 each out and in
Holding rail (3) and (4) Slip toward the rear and remove in upward direction

Holding rail (5) Can be removed and installed only after removing sliding-lifting roof frame and boring out rivets (11 each)

Sealing (1) Push into holding rail 2, 3, 4 and 5. The corrugations on plug profile should point upwards.


Installation note


To make sure that the sealing (1) in holding rail 2, 3 and 4 is adequately held in place, a gap dimension of 3 mm must be maintained between holding rail and roof panelling.
