Rear Adjustment of Vehicle Level
Preliminary operations:
Checking vehicle level at front and rear axles. [1][2]Component Tests and General Diagnostics
Adjust or correct vehicle level by:
a) Changing height of rubber mount (74).
Changing the height "a" of the rubber mount by 5 mm changes vehicle level by approx. 9 mm.
b) Matching, spring/rubber mount.
If adjustment of the rubber mounts is not possible, recalculate the matchup between the rear springs (73) and rubber mounts.
After completing work on axles and springs:
adjust headlights.

Three different rubber mounts are available.
When evaluating the vehicle level always check vehicle level at front and rear axles. The permissible difference in the vehicle level between the left and right sides of the vehicle should not exceed a maximum of:
- with measuring tool approx. 9 mm
- with tape measure approx. 15 mm
(from center of wheel to fender cutout).
