V-Belt Pulley

Removal:
1. Remove spring plate.






2. Remove circlip at front of V-belt pulley (arrow) and use plastic hammer to knock off V-belt pulley.






3. Replace roller bearing as necessary. Remove circlip from roller bearing (arrow).






4. Use special tool to press out roller bearing.
5. Press in flew roller bearing using special tool.
6. Install in reverse sequence.

Caution! If the old poly V-belt is being reinstalled, then the surface of the poly V-belt should be cleaned. If damage is present on the contact surface (e.g. due to overheating) then the poly V-belt must be replaced together with the spring plate.

7. Check operation of air conditioner.
