Oil Charge

1. Drain and measure oil from compressor being replaced.
2. Drain and measure oil from new compressor.
3. Fill new compressor with same amount oil drained from old compressor plus 10cc.
4. If replacing other components, proceed as follows:
a. Add 40 cc of oil if system suddenly lost refrigerant, such as in a line break.
b. Add 20 cc of oil if replacing condenser.
c. Add 40 cc of oil if replacing evaporator.
d. Add 10 cc of oil if replacing dehydrator.
e. Add 10 cc of oil if replacing intake line.
f. Add 10 cc of oil if replacing delivery line.
