Checking Lines With Elements For Leaks

Preparing test







1 Seal pneumatic lines (6) left and right in the rear compartment and pneumatic line (designation PV) on the supply pump with sealing cap (Part no. 000 987 11 45).







2 Connect tester with connector
(Part no. 007 997 61 82) to the pneumatic line to the supply pump (designation PV).

Preparing test







1 Expose distributor (19) in rear compartment on right.
2 Transfer letters on distributor (19) to the individual pneumatic lines.
3 Separate pneumatic lines on distributor (19).







NOTES: The pneumatic lines lead from the 6-way distributor (19) to the individual elements. The outputs on the distributor (19) are marked with letters. The letters indicate the element to which the pneumatic lines lead.

After testing reconnect the pneumatic lines to the distributor (19) with rubber connectors, part no. 007 997 61 82.

4 Disconnect yellow/blue pneumatic line on supply pump and plug with plug cap, part no. 000 987 11 45.
5 Plug pneumatic lines on left and right rear luggage compartment elements with plug caps, 000 987 11 45.

Connect tester to the elements of the rear luggage compartment.
