88-300 Removal And Installation Of Engine Hood










Removal, Installation
1 Unhook engine hood hinges (arrow), move engine hood to vertical position (90°) and lay a rag under both outer corners.







2 Remove cover on check valve and disconnect both hoses (arrow) and both cables (arrow) on check valve (22).







3 Remove windshield washer nozzle heater cover and unclip plug (arrow) and pull out cable (29) downward.







4 Screw out mounting screws (14) for engine hood (2) on left and right on engine hood hinges (5) and remove engine hood.







Install in reverse order.

NOTE: Insert engine hood into guide hooks (arrow) for engine hood hinges to facilitate installation.

5 Adjust engine hood (88-302).
