Retrofitting Drainage Line
NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.1. Remove viscous fan coupling.
2. Remove poly V-belt.
3. Remove belt pulley/vibration damper.
4. Remove belt pulleys at coolant pump and at fan bearing pedestal.
5. Remove shock absorber of tensioning device.
1st Version: Coolant Pump With 7.5 mm Diameter Hole
6. Coat connection fitting (1) with adhesive.
Insertion Drift:
7. Knock in connection fitting (1) with insertion drift (shop-made tool).
8. Fit drainage pipe (2) onto connection fitting (1) and nun between crankcase and power steering pump support.
2nd Version: Coolant Pump With 0 9.9 mm Hole
9. Coat drainage pipe (2) with Loctite 648, or equivalent.
10. Insert drainage pipe (2) into 9.9 mm diameter hole and run between crankcase and power steering pump support
