Before Performing Any SRS-Related Work

The Negative Battery Terminal must always be disconnected and covered before performing work in any of the following areas:
- Repairs On Bodywork
- Welding
- Work On The Airbag Restraint System
- Steering Wheel
- Airbag Unit.
- Control Device
- Seat Belt Tensioner

Detach the 12-pin airbag test coupling/plug connector (red) at the right in the foot well 2 seconds or more after the battery has been disconnected.
