H. R&R A/C Compressor Clutch





^ A/C compressor 10P15

Note:
A/C compressor already removed.





1. Hold spring plate (61) with pin wrench and loosen nut.





2. Screw puller into spring plate and pull spring plate off of compressor shaft.





3. Remove snap ring (arrow) and knock pulley off of compressor shaft using plastic hammer.





4. Remove screws (arrows) on housing. Open housing and disconnect blue lead.

5. Disconnect ground cable for clutch from compressor.





6. Remove snap ring and remove coil.

7. Reinstall in reverse sequence.

8. Ensure that the coil is positioned on the locating pin and the conical surface of the snap ring securing the coil is facing out.





9. Check gap of reinstalled spring plate with feeler gauge and correct with shims if necessary. Tightening torque: 16 +/- 1.0 Nm.

A/C compressor already removed.
