Pulling out jammed rear axle shaft flange
Tool In Installed Position:
1. Press out rear axle shaft flange (10) using puller parts (010b, 010d, 010f) and a suitable drift (010x) on a stationary hydraulic press.
Note: The diameter of the drift (010x) must be approx. 2 mm smaller than rear axle shaft flange diameter (see detail).

2. Pull rear axle shaft flange (10) into double-row angular ball bearing (8) using installation tool (08a-08c, 08e, 08i).
Note: Make sure that the pressure plate (small, 08c), part 03, lies flush against the bearing inner race during insertion (arrow).
