Distributor Cap: Service and Repair

Distributor:

13 High voltage distributor rotor
14 Follower
14a Follower slot
15 High voltage distributor cap
17 Cover

WARNING: Hazard as a result of high voltage. Live parts of the ignition system conduct high voltages. Do not touch any live parts when the ignition is switched ON, when cranking the engine by hand or with the starter, or when the engine is running.

Hood (18):

- Remove hood (18).
- Slacken hexagon socket screws and take off high voltage distributor cap (15).

Distributer Cap (15):

- Install ignition cables in the correct order at the high voltage distributor caps:
^ Right: 1-4-6-7.
^ Left: 5-8-3-2.
