Air Cleaner Housing: Description and Operation

Air Cleaner:

The air cleaner assembly removes dirt from the air intake system, PCV air stream, and is located above the mixture control unit. It consists of a housing made of plastic and metal which is fitted with a replaceable paper filtering element. It is connected to fresh air via a flexable plastic tubes and is fitted with an access port for air-fuel ratio adjustment.
