Charge Battery
Check
DANGER: Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of Injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.
1 Check battery condition
2 Remove battery
3 Connect charger
CAUTION: Do not connect connections with reverse polarity. Risk of short circuit.
4 Charge battery.
Normal charging: Charging current max. 10 % of battery capacity: e.g. charging current max. 10 A for a 100 Ah battery.
Quick charging: Charge current max. 50 % of battery capacity for 30 minutes: e.g. charge current max. 50 A for a 100 Ah battery.
5 Check battery
NOTE: Determine findings and replace battery if necessary.
6 Disconnect charger
7 Install battery
