Clearing Codes

Malfunction codes must have been read at least once before they can be erased. Once the malfunction has been corrected attach test equipment between diagnostic terminals 1 and 5. With warning lamp, leave jumper wire connected for at least 10 seconds with the engine running. With impulse counter, once readout is displayed depress the Start button for at least 10 seconds.
