V-Belt Pulley

Removal:
1. Remove V-belt.
2. Remove spring plate.

Attention! Refrigerant system remains filled.






3. Place refrigerant compressor on tubing or the like as an assembly aid (arrows).






4. Remove locking ring in front of V-belt pulley (arrow).






and knock out V-belt pulley with plastic hammer.






5. Renew antifriction bearing, if required. Remove locking ring in front of anti-friction bearing (arrows).






6. Force out antifriction bearing with special tools (arrows).
7. Force in new antifriction bearing with special tool.

Installation:

Attention! If the same V-belt pulley is again installed, clean friction surface of pulley. If friction surface shows damage, e.g. from overheating, renew pulley together with spring plate.

8. Mount V-belt pulley and install locking ring.
9. Place spacing washer and spring plate on compressor shaft, tighten nut (arrow).






10. Check gap dimension and correct with spacing washer, if required.
11. Install refrigerant compressor.
12. Check air-conditioning system for function. Testing and Inspection
