Transmission Slips During 3-4 Shift

Reconditioned transmission

Cause/remedy:






1. Reconditioned transmissions can be fitted with an incorrect sized intermediate plate.

2. Remove shift valve body and check whether there are two holes (arrows) in the large intermediate plate. If the holes are there, replace this large intermediate plate (ZB part no. 124 270 00 05/05)

If an intermediate plate without the two holes is installed, the cause is the clutch K2, i.e. replace externally4oothed disc carrier K2 completely.
