Rear Seat System (Electrically Adjustable)

Removal
Both front seats
move forward.

Rear backrest
place in upright position.

Rear head restraints
raise.

Cover (2)
press out upwards out of lock on head restraint clip and remove forwards. Follow installation note!

Front seat cushion (1)
remove by pressing lock (arrows, for item 1) outwards, raise seat cushion and remove.

Rear backrest fixing
remove at upper left and right by pressing out pin (10) on connecting linkage (7) inwards using water pump pliers and remove from backrest frame. Follow installation note!

Screws (4 pieces, WAF 10)
unscrew from rear backrest (3) on the lower left and right (arrows, for item 3).

Rear backrest (3)
tilt forward at the top and detach plug connector (4) for left and right electrical rear head restraint adjustment.

Rear backrest (3)
remove.

























Installation
Plastic bush (5, arrow)
replace on the left and right of the upper backrest frame.

Bush (6) on connecting linkage (7)
check.

Bush (9) on pin (10)
check.

When installing rear backrest (3)
first screw on at the bottom, while exposing the safety belts and connect plug connector (4).

Connection linkage (7) with pin (10)
connect to upper backrest frame whilst plugging in pins (10) from inside outward.

Tracks in the cover (2)
insert in trailing device (11) and engage in the transverse pins of the head restraint clip at the front (arrows).

Reinstall
in opposite order.

Function check
perform.

Installation note









It is absolutely essential to replace the bush (5) on the backrest frame after dismantling the pin (10).





When installing, insert cover (2) with the tracks into the trailing lever (arrow) on the left and right and lock in the locking bolts of the head restraint clip.
